We have much experience of working with Social Services and NHS teams. We have consulted to staff teams working with people with the elderly, children and adults with learning disabilities, mental health day centre and outreach teams, Children and Families and LAC teams, Quality Protects, Surestart and NHS staff teams.
We are external Supervisors to social workers, family centre workers, mental health managers and offering staff support to a variety of social services/NHS teams. This has included Awaydays, working with teams experiencing difficulties, external supervision and ongoing leadership and development. We have specific expertise in working with teams on understanding the different religious and cultural backgrounds of their clients and developing appropriate service delivery.
We have carried out much work in the NHS. Recently this has included training all managers of a Mental Health NHS Trust in cultural and religious awareness, all managers and administrators of an NHS Research Unit in Diversity Awareness, the investigation of Bullying in the staff team of an NHS hospital which included interviewing 22 members of staff and the development of a series of Toolkits on good management practice for the Department of Health and the development of a Guide for Managers on Religious and Cultural Awareness. We have also been the main Diversity providers for an NHS Agency.
