Executive Coaching

Executive Coaching helps individuals address specific professional and personal development issues in the workplace and find their own solutions to organisational concerns. We specialise in the people side of organisations enabling managers to understand the conscious and unconscious processes operating in the workplace and helping them develop a systemic understanding of the organisational context in which they operate. This approach helps the client to develop an ability to work with these processes to enable change and to understand when resistance to change becomes a barrier. We can respond quickly and flexibly to an initial request. We also have very specific experience in cross cultural management and leadership development and can offer coaching for the global manager.

Our Coaching Approach

Our Executive Coaches have the professional ability to quickly engage with their clients appropriately. The first session would look sensitively at the client’s needs, the themes that the client may wish to examine and develop in the coaching sessions and then a timetable would be planned. The number of sessions will depend on the clients needs and can vary enormously depending on the complexity of the issues discussed.

Our coaching approach helps the client to develop:

• A deeper understanding of their own experience, emotional, intellectual and professional, to understand their own behaviour in role and to realise the impact on those they manage.
• A reflective approach on how the client manages stress, change, conflict, time, critical issues and an increased ability to evaluate their own response appropriately.
• A clearer awareness of the strengths and limitations of their own leadership and management style together with an increased confidence to exercise authority as a manager or leader.
• An increased perception of the people management skills needed to lead, mentor and develop staff.

Our coaches, using their professional knowledge and experience, are able to actively listen, reflect back and help the client review their work experience in a comfortable and confidential environment.

Career Development Coaching

We are able to help clients to evaluate their career with a tailored coaching service to identify their strengths, weaknesses and skills and help them focus on evaluating the areas in the workplace that motivate them. We can help clients identify transferable skills, develop presentation and interview skills, reflect on their body language and develop a meaningful CV or job application. The sessions provide an opportunity for clients to either develop within their current field or to explore new career options in a comfortable, professional environment.

We can also help clients carry out a practice interview which helps them to develop appropriate answers to interview questions, reflect on their presentation skills and enable them to gain valuable insight into how they may be perceived by the interviewer. Our practice interviews, with detailed feedback, have been invaluable in helping clients succeed at interview. We also can offer a DVD filmed version of the interview for the client to use as a helpful development tool. The number of sessions will depend on the clients needs and can vary enormously depending on the complexity of the issues discussed.
