We are accredited registered consultants for Local Authorities, Government Departments, public sector bodies, the NHS and professional organisations (50+). Below are the profiles of some of our consultants and trainers:

Stephanie Segal MA, Chart FCIPD, MISPSO, MTSP

Stephanie Segal is the Principal Consultant and Director of Stephanie Segal Consultancy Ltd, organisational consultants and trainers working with 50 associates and 100 trainers. Stephanie is a management and organisational consultant with 30 years of experience working nationally and internationally with organisations on all aspects of strategic planning, diversity, human resources and service delivery. Stephanie is a member of the Equal Opportunities Commission Equalities Exchange, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, a member of the Tavistock Consultancy D10 Group, the International Society for the Psychoanalytical Study of Organisations, the Workplace Mediation Project, the Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists and Allied Professionals and an Opus Associate. Stephanie has an MA from the Tavistock Clinic in Consultation and the Organisation and has studied the Systemic Approach to Working with Children and Families. Stephanie has extensive experience of consulting to public sector bodies on Equality and Diversity Auditing with a specific emphasis on disability, race, religion and culture. This has included working for Government Departments and local authorities developing major training programmes on diversity.

Stephanie Segal is currently working with multi-national companies on cultural and diversity awareness, developing appropriate policies, procedures and training programmes for all staff. Stephanie has developed extensive recruitment and selection programmes throughout the public sector including specific courses for those working directly with children and vulnerable adults. Stephanie regularly leads Awaydays and staff support groups for multi-professional groupings, is an external supervisor to managers, coaches and mentors staff and leads Action Learning Sets. She has considerable Social Services and NHS experience.

Alison Cumpsty BA, MCIPD

Alison Cumpsty is an independent trainer who has twenty years of experience in the training and development field. Before becoming independent in 1995, she was Head of Training and Development for a large Local Authority where she worked on major organisational initiatives for over seven years.

Alison’s main areas of expertise are diversity and management development with a specific interest in race and disability awareness. Alison has developed and run comprehensive diversity courses throughout the public sector - local authorities, NHS Trusts, universities, galleries and museums and for the commercial sector. Alison also offers training in assertiveness and other communication skills and has significant experience in coaching individuals who have had performance or other career issues.

Alison has taught on DMS courses, the CIPD Employee Development Modules at the University of North London (now London Metropolitan University) and on the Post Graduate Diploma at the University of East London. Alison is a member of the CIPD, has a counselling qualification from the Westminster Pastoral Foundation and is an experienced executive coach.

Shaama Saggar-Malik BSc (Hons)

Shaama Saggar-Malik is an independent organisational development and performance improvement consultant, working predominantly within the public sector. She is particularly skilled in supporting organisations improve their strategic management capabilities, implementing organisational change with a specific emphasis on diversity and enabling service innovation. Shaama is a former Head of Human Resources in the public sector.

Shaama is a lay member of Employment Tribunals, a lay assessor for a national body and a Board member of a Housing Association. She is an Associate member of SOCPO. Shaama is qualified to administer several psychometric and profiling instruments.

Shaama has acquired a wide range of high-level strategic management and leadership skills, particularly those pertinent to complex, multifunctional organisations. Her particular interests include diversity, leadership and team development, talent management, work life balance, conflict management, managing change and innovation, executive coaching and brokering partnerships. Shaama has extensive experience of acting as a catalyst to top teams and troubleshooting on corporate, HR and performance improvement issues and has significant experience of working effectively in political environments and working at local and national levels.
